For decades, FirsTech has served as a partner to our client's' success by excelling in the rapid collection of payments through a robust set of service offerings.

Beginning operations in 1984 as a department of the First National Bank of Decatur in Illinois, FirsTech served as the lockbox processing service for large utilities. Given the success being achieved within the bank and the growing opportunity to expand the service offerings, the company was incorporated as a separate subsidiary in 1988. After a series of parent company mergers, in 2007 FirsTech became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Busey Bank, traded on the NASDAQ under the call letters BUSE.

FirsTech processes millions of payments per year for customers nationwide through a comprehensive custom built in-house suite of capabilities including: electronic bill presentment; on-line bill pay; mobile bill pay CSR payments; direct debit; automated phone payments; lockbox walk-in payment processing; and electronic concentration of payments delivered by the ACH network and other processing systems. With expansive service operations in Down State Illinois and St. Louis, Missouri, metropolitan area, FirsTech offers total technological and operational redundancy, providing a high level of ongoing support and customer service for clients.

Through a nationwide footprint of sales offices, after more than three decades, FirsTech continues to subscribe to its original philosophy of acting as a partner, rather than a "provider", to assist clients in achieving their business objectives. Leveraging this approach in conjunction with a trademark "circle of success" solution suite, the result continues to be a high level of customer satisfaction driven by the clients' ability to reduce days' sales outstanding (DSO) and lower payment processing costs.

Today, as a leader in the introduction of new technology to the market, FirsTech continues to evolve as a partner that provides reliable, price competitive and custom transaction processing solutions.

FirsTech is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Busey Bank, a $9.7 billion financial institution headquartered in Champaign, Illinois.
